¹³ Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the Lord.

³ And Jehoshaphat feared, and set ^[a]himself to ^(A)seek the Lord, and ^(B)proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. ⁴ So Judah gathered together to ask ^(C)help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.

¹⁰ “All of you stand today before the Lord your God: your leaders and your tribes and your elders and your officers, all the men of Israel, ¹¹ your little ones and your wives—also the stranger who is in your camp, from ^(A)the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water—

³⁶ For seven days you shall offer an ^(A)offering made by fire to the Lord. ^(B)On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. It is a ^(C)sacred^[a] assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it.

² Then ^(A)those of Israelite lineage separated themselves from all foreigners; and they stood and ^(B)confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers. ³ And they stood up in their place and ^(C)read from the Book of the Law of the Lord their God for one-fourth of the day; and for another fourth they confessed and worshiped the Lord their God.

¹⁸ Also ^(A)day by day, from the first day until the last day, he read from the Book of the Law of God. And they kept the feast ^(B)seven days; and on the ^(C)eighth day there was a sacred assembly, according to the prescribed manner.
