¹⁷ If it be so, our ^(A)God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire; ^[a]and ^(B)He will rescue us from your hand, O king.

²⁸ Nebuchadnezzar responded and said, “Blessed be the ^(A)God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who has ^(B)sent His angel and rescued His servants who put their ^(C)trust in Him, ^[a]violating the king’s command, and surrendered their bodies ^(D)rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

²⁰ And when he had come near the den to Daniel, he cried out with a troubled voice. The king began speaking and said to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has ^(A)your God, whom you continually serve, been ^(B)able to rescue you from the lions?”

¹⁰ who ^(A)rescued us from so great a danger of death, and will rescue us, He ^[a](B)on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us,
