²⁹ When you hide your face, they are dismayed;
    when you take away their breath, they die
    and return to their dust.^(A)

⁴ He is wise in heart and mighty in strength;
    who has resisted him and succeeded?^(A)

²² They will be gathered together
    like prisoners in a pit;
they will be shut up in a prison,
    and after many days they will be punished.^(A)
