Job 24:4-10
New International Version
4 They thrust the needy(A) from the path
and force all the poor(B) of the land into hiding.(C)
5 Like wild donkeys(D) in the desert,
the poor go about their labor(E) of foraging food;
the wasteland(F) provides food for their children.
6 They gather fodder(G) in the fields
and glean in the vineyards(H) of the wicked.(I)
7 Lacking clothes, they spend the night naked;
they have nothing to cover themselves in the cold.(J)
8 They are drenched(K) by mountain rains
and hug(L) the rocks for lack of shelter.(M)
9 The fatherless(N) child is snatched(O) from the breast;
the infant of the poor is seized(P) for a debt.(Q)
10 Lacking clothes, they go about naked;(R)
they carry the sheaves,(S) but still go hungry.
