¹³ But you say, ‘^(A)What does God know?
Can He judge through the thick darkness?
^14 (B)Clouds are a hiding place for Him, so that He cannot see;
And He walks on the ^[a]vault of heaven.’

²¹ “For ^(A)His eyes are upon the ways of a person,
And He sees all his steps.
²² There is ^(B)no darkness or deep shadow
Where the workers of injustice can hide themselves.

^7 (A)Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
^8 (B)If I ascend to heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in ^[a]Sheol, behold, ^(C)You are there.
⁹ If I take up the wings of the dawn,
If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
¹⁰ Even there Your hand will ^(D)lead me,
And Your right hand will take hold of me.
¹¹ If I say, “Surely the ^(E)darkness will ^[b]overwhelm me,
And the light around me will be night,”
¹² Even ^(F)darkness is not dark ^[c]to You,
And the night is as bright as the day.
^(G)Darkness and light are alike to You.

¹⁵ Woe to those who deeply ^(A)hide their ^[a]plans from the Lord,
And whose ^(B)deeds are done in a dark place,
And they say, “^(C)Who sees us?” or “Who knows us?”
