Job 16:18-21

18 “O earth, do not cover my blood;
let my outcry find no resting place.(A)
19 Even now my witness is in heaven,
and my advocate is on high.(B)
20 My friends scorn me;
my eye pours out tears to God,
21 that he would maintain the right of a mortal with God,
as[a] one does for a neighbor.(C)

Job Appeals to Witnesses
18 “Listen, earth! Don’t cover my blood,
for my outcry has no place to rest.
19 Even now, behold! I have a witness in heaven,
my Advocate is on high.
20 My friends mock me,
while my eyes overflow with tears to God,
21 crying for him to arbitrate between this[a] man and God;
as a human being does with his fellow neighbor.
