9 Does God listen to their cry when distress comes upon them?(A)
29 The Lord is (A)far from the wicked,But He (B)hears the prayer of the righteous.

15 “So when you (A)spread out your hands in prayer,(B)I will hide My eyes from you;Yes, even though you (C)multiply prayers,I will not listen.(D)Your hands are [a]covered with blood.
15 When you spread out your hands(A) in prayer, I hide(B) my eyes from you;even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening.(C)
Your hands(D) are full of blood!(E)
11 Therefore thus says the Lord, “Behold I am (A)bringing disaster on them which they will (B)not be able to escape; though they will (C)cry to Me, yet I will not listen to them.
11 Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘I will bring on them a disaster(A) they cannot escape.(B) Although they cry(C) out to me, I will not listen(D) to them.
4 Then they will (A)cry out to the Lord,But He will not answer them.Instead, He will (B)hide His face from them at that timeBecause they have (C)practiced evil deeds.
