Jeremiah 52:31-34
American Standard Version
31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison; 32 and he spake kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon, 33 and changed his prison garments. And Jehoiachin did eat bread before him continually all the days of his life: 34 and for his allowance, there was a continual allowance given him by the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.

An Allowance for Jehoiachin
31 And then[a] in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin, the king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, Evil-merodach, the king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin, the king of Judah, and brought him out from prison.[b] 32 Then he spoke with him kindly and gave his seat above the seats[c] of the kings who were with him in Babylon. 33 So he changed the garments of his imprisonment and he ate food before him[d] continually all the days of his life. 34 And his allowance, a continual allowance was given to him by the king of Babylon on a daily basis[e] all the days of his life up to the day of his death.
