For thus says Yahweh to the men of Judah and to Jerusalem,

And (B)do not sow among thorns.
(C)Circumcise yourselves to Yahweh
And remove the foreskins of your heart,
Men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem,
Lest My (D)wrath go forth like fire
And burn with (E)none to quench it
Because of the evil of your deeds.”

    or else my anger will spread like a wildfire.
        It will burn, with no one to put it out,
        because of your evil deeds.
