Jeremiah 44:18-19

New International Version

¹⁸ But ever since we stopped burning incense to the Queen of Heaven and pouring out drink offerings^(A) to her, we have had nothing and have been perishing by sword and famine.^(B)”

¹⁹ The women added, “When we burned incense^(C) to the Queen of Heaven^(D) and poured out drink offerings to her, did not our husbands^(E) know that we were making cakes^(F) impressed with her image^(G) and pouring out drink offerings to her?”
