3 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: (A)“Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
3 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Reform your ways(A) and your actions, and I will let you live(B) in this place.
13 So (A)rend your heart, and not (B)your garments;Return to the Lord your God,For He is (C)gracious and merciful,Slow to anger, and of great kindness;And He relents from doing harm.
13 Rend your heart(A) and not your garments.(B)Return(C) to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate,(D)slow to anger and abounding in love,(E) and he relents from sending calamity.(F)
8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to God; yes, (A)let every one turn from his evil way and from (B)the violence that is in his hands.
