¹¹ For ^(A)I am with you,’ declares the Lord, ‘to save you;
For I will completely ^(B)destroy all the nations where I have scattered you,
Only I will ^(C)not destroy you completely.
But I will ^(D)discipline you fairly
And will by no means leave you unpunished.’

³⁵ This is what the Lord says,
He who ^(A)gives the sun for light by day
And the ^[a]fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,
Who ^(B)stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—
^(C)The Lord of armies is His name:
³⁶ “^(D)If ^[b]this fixed order departs
From Me,” declares the Lord,
“Then the descendants of Israel also will ^(E)cease
To be a nation before Me ^[c]forever.”

³² And it will come about that ^(A)everyone who calls on the name of the Lord
Will ^[a]be saved;
For ^(B)on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
There will be those who ^(C)escape,
Just as the Lord has said,
Even among the ^(D)survivors whom the Lord calls.

“Just as the shepherd ^[a](A)snatches from the lion’s mouth a couple of legs or a piece of an ear,
So will the sons of Israel living in Samaria be ^[b]snatched away—
With the ^(B)corner of a bed and the ^[c](C)cover of a couch!
