Jeremiah 39:6-8 Common English Bible (CEB)

The king of Babylon slaughtered Zedekiah’s children at Riblah before his very own eyes, and the king of Babylon slaughtered all the officials of Judah. Then he gouged out Zedekiah’s eyes, bound him in chains, and dragged him off to Babylon.

The Babylonians burned down the royal palace and the houses of the people, and they destroyed the Jerusalem walls.

Jeremiah 39:6-8 New International Version (NIV)

There at Riblah the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes and also killed all the nobles of Judah. Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon.

The Babylonians[a] set fire to the royal palace and the houses of the people and broke down the walls of Jerusalem.
