5 But the Chaldean’s host pursued after them, and overtook Zedekiah in the desert of Jericho: and when they had taken him, they brought him to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babel unto [a]Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gave judgment upon him.
6 Then the king of Babel slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also the king of Babel slew all the nobles of Judah.
7 Moreover he put out Zedekiah’s eyes, and bound him in chains to carry him to Babel.

New International Version
5 But the Babylonian[a] army pursued them and overtook Zedekiah(A) in the plains of Jericho. They captured(B) him and took him to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon at Riblah(C) in the land of Hamath, where he pronounced sentence on him. 6 There at Riblah the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes and also killed all the nobles(D) of Judah. 7 Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes(E) and bound him with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon.(F)
