8 “O (A)Hope of Israel,Its (B)Savior in (C)time of distress,Why are You like a stranger in the landOr like a traveler who has pitched his tent for the night?
8 You who are the hope(A) of Israel, its Savior(B) in times of distress,(C)why are you like a stranger in the land, like a traveler who stays only a night?
7 “All who came upon them have devoured them; And their adversaries have said, ‘(A)We are not guilty,Inasmuch as they have sinned against the Lord who is the (B)habitation of righteousness,Even the Lord, the (C)hope of their fathers.’
7 Whoever found them devoured(A) them; their enemies said, ‘We are not guilty,(B)for they sinned against the Lord, their verdant pasture, the Lord, the hope(C) of their ancestors.’
