²³ but I gave them this command:^(A) Obey^(B) me, and I will be your God and you will be my people.^(C) Walk in obedience to all^(D) I command you, that it may go well^(E) with you.

²⁶ He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep^(A) all his decrees,^(B) I will not bring on you any of the diseases^(C) I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals^(D) you.”

³³ Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you,^(A) so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days^(B) in the land that you will possess.

⁶ Whether it is favorable or unfavorable, we will obey the Lord our God, to whom we are sending you, so that it will go well^(A) with us, for we will obey^(B) the Lord our God.”

⁹ and, once made perfect,^(A) he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him

³ Hear, Israel, and be careful to obey^(A) so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly^(B) in a land flowing with milk and honey,^(C) just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised^(D) you.

⁵ Now if you obey me fully^(A) and keep my covenant,^(B) then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession.^(C) Although the whole earth^(D) is mine, ⁶ you^[a] will be for me a kingdom of priests^(E) and a holy nation.’^(F) These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.”

²⁰ and that you may love^(A) the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life,^(B) and he will give^(C) you many years in the land^(D) he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

⁴ It is the Lord your God you must follow,^(A) and him you must revere.^(B) Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast^(C) to him.
