^11 (A)He put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in chains, and the king of Babylon took him to Babylon, and put him in prison ^(B)till the day of his death.

^13 (A)And I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare. And ^(B)I will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, ^(C)yet he shall not see it, and he shall die there.

^3 (A)You shall not escape from his hand but shall surely be captured and delivered into his hand. ^(B)You shall see the king of Babylon eye to eye and speak with him face to face. And you shall go to Babylon.’ ⁴ Yet hear the word of the Lord, O Zedekiah king of Judah! ^(C)Thus says the Lord concerning you: ^(D)‘You shall not die by the sword. ⁵ You shall die in peace. ^(E)And as spices were burned for your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so people shall ^(F)burn spices for you ^(G)and lament for you, saying, “Alas, lord!”’ For I have spoken the word, declares the Lord.”
