¹⁷ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, ^(A)“Come and gather together for the ^[a]supper of the great God,

¹⁰ standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ^(A)‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! ^(B)For in one hour your judgment has come.’

Seventh Bowl: The Earth Utterly Shaken

¹⁷ Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, ^(A)“It is done!” ¹⁸ And ^(B)there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; ^(C)and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake ^(D)as had not occurred since men were on the earth. ¹⁹ Now ^(E)the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And ^(F)great Babylon ^(G)was remembered before God, ^(H)to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.
