³⁶ And I will bring upon ^(A)Elam the four winds from the four quarters of heaven. And I will scatter them to all those winds, and there shall be no nation to which those driven out of ^(B)Elam shall not come.

7 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back ^(A)the four winds of the earth, ^(B)that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree.

⁸ Then ^(A)the goat ^(B)became exceedingly great, but when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and instead of it there came up four ^(C)conspicuous horns toward ^(D)the four winds of heaven.

¹⁰ Therefore ^(A)fathers shall eat their sons in your midst, and sons shall eat their fathers. ^(B)And I will execute judgments on you, ^(C)and any of you who survive I will scatter to all the winds.

⁴ And as soon as he has arisen, ^(A)his kingdom shall be broken and divided ^(B)toward the ^(C)four winds of heaven, but ^(D)not to his posterity, nor according to the authority with which he ruled, for his kingdom shall be plucked up and go to others besides these.

^22 (A)As for the horn that was broken, in place of which four others arose, four kingdoms shall arise from his^[a] nation, ^(B)but not with his power.

² Daniel declared,^[a] “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, ^(A)the four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea. ³ And four great beasts ^(B)came up out of the sea, different from one another.
