Jeremiah 31:35-37
American Standard Version
35 Thus saith Jehovah, who giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who [a]stirreth up the sea, so that the waves thereof roar; Jehovah of hosts is his name: 36 If these ordinances depart from before me, saith Jehovah, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37 Thus saith Jehovah: If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then will I also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith Jehovah.

35 Thus says the Lord,
Who (A)gives the sun for light by day
And the [a]fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,
Who (B)stirs up the sea so that its waves roar;
(C)The Lord of hosts is His name:
36 “(D)If [b]this fixed order departs
From before Me,” declares the Lord,
“Then the offspring of Israel also will (E)cease
From being a nation before Me [c]forever.”
37 Thus says the Lord,
“(F)If the heavens above can be measured
And the foundations of the earth searched out below,
Then I will also (G)cast off all the offspring of Israel
For all that they have done,” declares the Lord.
