²⁷ Then ^(A)the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have ^(B)broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who ^(C)enslaved them.

¹⁰ Then Hananiah the prophet took the ^(A)yoke off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck and broke it.

² “Thus says the Lord to me: ‘Make for yourselves bonds and yokes, ^(A)and put them on your neck,

¹³ “Go and tell Hananiah, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “You have broken the yokes of wood, but you have made in their place yokes of iron.”

⁴ And I will bring back to this place ^[a]Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah who went to Babylon,’ says the Lord, ‘for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.’ ”

^7 (A)So all nations shall serve him and his son and his son’s son, ^(B)until the time of his land comes; ^(C)and then many nations and great kings shall make him serve them.

^14 (A)(For many nations ^(B)and great kings shall ^(C)be served by them also; ^(D)and I will repay them according to their deeds and according to the works of their own hands.)’ ”
