¹⁴ “However, the days are coming,”^(A) declares the Lord, “when it will no longer be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’^(B)

⁷ “So then, the days are coming,”^(A) declares the Lord, “when people will no longer say, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’^{(B) 8} but they will say, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the descendants of Israel up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.’ Then they will live in their own land.”^(C)

¹⁵ Remember that you were slaves^(A) in Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you.^(B) That is why I give you this command today.

⁴ For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince,^(A) without sacrifice^(B) or sacred stones,^(C) without ephod^(D) or household gods.^{(E) 5} Afterward the Israelites will return and seek^(F) the Lord their God and David their king.^(G) They will come trembling^(H) to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.^(I)
