⁶ But ^(A)let him ask in faith, ^(B)with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like ^(C)a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

²¹ And Jesus answered them, ^(A)“Truly, I say to you, ^(B)if you have faith and ^(C)do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ^(D)‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. ²² And ^(E)whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, ^(F)if you have faith.”

⁶ And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God ^(A)must believe that he exists and ^(B)that he rewards those who seek him.

²² And Jesus answered them, “Have ^(A)faith in God. ^23 (B)Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ^(C)‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not ^(D)doubt in his heart, but ^(E)believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. ²⁴ Therefore I tell you, ^(F)whatever you ask in prayer, ^(G)believe that you ^(H)have received^[a] it, and it will be yours.

¹⁴ so that we may no longer be children, ^(A)tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in ^(B)deceitful schemes.

^23 (A)Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for ^(B)he who promised is faithful.

⁹ Do not be ^(A)led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, ^(B)not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them.

⁸ I desire then that ^(A)in every place the men should pray, ^(B)lifting ^(C)holy hands without anger or quarreling;

^17 (A)These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm. ^(B)For them the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved.
