The Future Glory of the Survivors in Zion

² On that day the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be the pride and glory of the survivors of Israel.^(A)

²¹ He will transform the body of our humiliation^[a] that it may be conformed to the body of his glory,^[b] by the power that also enables him to make all things subject to himself.^(A)

³⁰ because we are members of his body.^{[a](A) 31} “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”^{(B) 32} This is a great mystery, but I am speaking about Christ and the church.

²⁰ Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with you, and you with me.^{(A) 21} To the one who conquers I will give a place with me on my throne, just as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.^{(B) 22} Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”
