⁷ Now therefore, behold, the Lord is about to bring on them the ^(A)strong and abundant waters of the ^(B)Euphrates River,
That is, the ^(C)king of Assyria and all his glory;
And it will ^(D)rise over all its channels and go over all its banks.

“Behold, waters are going to rise from ^(A)the north
And become an overflowing torrent,
And ^(B)overflow the land and everything that is in it,
The city and those who live in it;
And the people will ^(C)cry out,
And every inhabitant of the land will wail.
