Isaiah 65 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Righteousness of God’s Judgment
65 “I was sought by those who did not ask for Me;
6 “Behold, it is written before Me:
8 Thus says the Lord:
“As the new wine is found in the cluster,
11 “But you are those who forsake the Lord,
13 Therefore thus says the Lord God:
“Behold, My servants shall eat,
The Glorious New Creation
17 “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;
20 “No more shall an infant from there live but a few days,
24 “It shall come to pass
Isaiah 66 New King James Version (NKJV)
True Worship and False
66 Thus says the Lord:
“Heaven is My throne,
3 “He who kills a bull is as if he slays a man;
The Lord Vindicates Zion
5 Hear the word of the Lord,
6 The sound of noise from the city!
7 “Before she was in labor, she gave birth;
12 For thus says the Lord:
“Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river,
The Reign and Indignation of God
14 When you see this, your heart shall rejoice,
17 “Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves,
18 “For I know their works and their thoughts. It shall be that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My glory. 19 I will set a sign among them; and those among them who escape I will send to the nations: to Tarshish and [c]Pul and Lud, who draw the bow, and Tubal and Javan, to the coastlands afar off who have not heard My fame nor seen My glory. And they shall declare My glory among the Gentiles. 20 Then they shall bring all your brethren for an offering to the Lord out of all nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” says the Lord, “as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord. 21 And I will also take some of them for priests and Levites,” says the Lord.
22 “For as the new heavens and the new earth
24 “And they shall go forth and look
2 Kings 19:37 New King James Version (NKJV)
37 Now it came to pass, as he was worshiping in the temple of Nisroch his god, that his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him down with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Then Esarhaddon his son reigned in his place.
2 Chronicles 33:10-17 New King James Version (NKJV)
Manasseh Restored After Repentance
10 And the Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they would not [a]listen. 11 Therefore the Lord brought upon them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh with [b]hooks, bound him with [c]bronze fetters, and carried him off to Babylon. 12 Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, 13 and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.
14 After this he built a wall outside the City of David on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, as far as the entrance of the Fish Gate; and it enclosed Ophel, and he raised it to a very great height. Then he put military captains in all the fortified cities of Judah. 15 He took away the foreign gods and the idol from the house of the Lord, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the Lord and in Jerusalem; and he cast them out of the city. 16 He also repaired the altar of the Lord, sacrificed peace offerings and thank offerings on it, and commanded Judah to serve the Lord God of Israel. 17 Nevertheless the people still sacrificed on the [d]high places, but only to the Lord their God.
