²¹Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes^(A)
and clever in their own sight.

²¹Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

²Those who think they know something^(A) do not yet know as they ought to know.^(B)

²And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

³If anyone thinks they are something^(A) when they are not, they deceive themselves.^(B)

³For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
