25 In the day of great slaughter,(A) when the towers(B) fall, streams of water will flow(C) on every high mountain and every lofty hill.
25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
14 The fortress(A) will be abandoned, the noisy city deserted;(B)citadel and watchtower(C) will become a wasteland forever, the delight of donkeys,(D) a pasture for flocks,(E)
14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
18 In your thoughts you will ponder the former terror:(A) “Where is that chief officer?Where is the one who took the revenue? Where is the officer in charge of the towers?(B)”
18 Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
