¹⁰     and those the Lord has rescued^(A) will return.
They will enter Zion with singing;^(B)
    everlasting joy^(C) will crown their heads.
Gladness^(D) and joy will overtake them,
    and sorrow and sighing will flee away.^(E)

¹⁷ For the Lamb at the center of the throne
    will be their shepherd;^(A)
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’^[a](B)
    ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’^[b]”^(C)

⁸     he will swallow up death^(A) forever.
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears^(B)
    from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace^(C)
    from all the earth.
The Lord has spoken.^(D)
