^25 (A)Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and ^(B)gave Himself for her, ²⁶ that He might ^[a]sanctify and cleanse her ^(C)with the washing of water ^(D)by the word, ^27 (E)that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, ^(F)not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

²⁹ Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, ³⁰ since ^(A)there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

² For I am ^(A)jealous for you with godly jealousy. For ^(B)I have betrothed you to one husband, ^(C)that I may present you ^(D)as a chaste virgin to Christ. ³ But I fear, lest somehow, as ^(E)the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds ^(F)may be corrupted from the ^[a]simplicity that is in Christ.

⁸ “When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; ^(A)so I spread ^[a]My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I ^(B)swore an oath to you and entered into a ^(C)covenant with you, and ^(D)you became Mine,” says the Lord God.

^29 (A)He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but ^(B)the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.
