²² who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers made subject to him.^(A)

¹⁸ And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.^(A)

⁵ While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, the Beloved;^[a] with him I am well pleased; listen to him!”^(A)

¹⁵ who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets^[a] and drove us out; they displease God and oppose everyone^{(A) 16} by hindering us from speaking to the gentiles so that they may be saved. Thus they have constantly been filling up the measure of their sins, but wrath^[b] has overtaken them at last.^[c](B)

²⁰ God^[a] put this power to work in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,^{[b](A) 21} far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come.^{(B) 22} And he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church,^(C)

⁸ For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of the truth of God in order that he might confirm the promises given to the ancestors^(A)

³⁶ You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all.^(A)

²⁰ The Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing, and he will show him greater works than these, so that you will be astonished.^{(A) 21} Indeed, just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes.^{(B) 22} The Father judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son,^{(C) 23} so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.^{(D) 24} Very truly, I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and does not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.^(E)

²⁵ “Very truly, I tell you, the hour is coming and is now here when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.^{(F) 26} For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself, ²⁷ and he has given him authority to execute judgment because he is the Son of Man.^(G)
