“Behold, ^(A)I will extend peace to her like a river,
And the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream.
Then you shall ^(B)feed;
On her sides shall you be ^(C)carried,
And be dandled on her knees.

That Israel would walk in My ways!
¹⁴ I would soon subdue their enemies,
And turn My hand against their adversaries.
^15 (B)The haters of the Lord would pretend submission to Him,
But their ^[a]fate would endure forever.
¹⁶ He would ^(C)have fed them also with ^[b]the finest of wheat;
And with honey ^(D)from the rock I would have satisfied you.”

⁸ “Rain^(A) down, you heavens, from above,
And let the skies pour down righteousness;
Let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation,
And let righteousness spring up together.
I, the Lord, have created it.
