²⁶ Who declared it from the beginning, so that we might know,
    and beforehand, so that we might say, “He is right”?
There was no one who declared it, none who proclaimed,
    none who heard your words.^(A)

⁷ Who is like me? Let them proclaim it;
    let them declare and set it forth before me.
Who has announced from of old the things to come?^[a]
    Let them tell us^[b] what is yet to be.^(A)

²² Let them bring them and tell us
    what is to happen.
Tell us the former things, what they were,
    so that we may consider them
and that we may know their outcome
    or declare to us the things to come.^(A)

²¹ Declare and present your case;
    take counsel together!^[a]
Who told this long ago?
    Who declared it of old?
Was it not I, the Lord?
    There is no other god besides me,
a righteous God and a Savior;
    there is no one besides me.^(A)

⁹ Let all the nations gather together,
    and let the peoples assemble.
Who among them declared this
    and foretold to us the former things?
Let them bring their witnesses to justify them,
    and let them hear and say, “It is true.”^(A)
