Ioan 14 Beibl William Morgan (BWM)

14 Na thralloder eich calon: yr ydych yn credu yn Nuw, credwch ynof finnau hefyd. Yn nhŷ fy Nhad y mae llawer o drigfannau: a phe amgen, mi a ddywedaswn i chwi. Yr wyf fi yn myned i baratoi lle i chwi. Ac os myfi a af, ac a baratoaf le i chwi, mi a ddeuaf drachefn, ac a’ch cymeraf chwi ataf fy hun; fel lle yr wyf fi, y byddoch chwithau hefyd. Ac i ba le yr wyf fi yn myned, chwi a wyddoch, a’r ffordd a wyddoch. Dywedodd Thomas wrtho, Arglwydd, ni wyddom ni i ba le yr wyt ti yn myned; a pha fodd y gallwn wybod y ffordd? Yr Iesu a ddywedodd wrtho ef, Myfi yw’r ffordd, a’r gwirionedd, a’r bywyd: nid yw neb yn dyfod at y Tad, ond trwof fi. Ped adnabuasech fi, fy Nhad hefyd a adnabuasech: ac o hyn allan yr adwaenoch ef, a chwi a’i gwelsoch ef. Dywedodd Philip wrtho, Arglwydd, dangos i ni y Tad, a digon yw i ni. Yr Iesu a ddywedodd wrtho, A ydwyf gyhyd o amser gyda chwi, ac nid adnabuost fi, Philip? Y neb a’m gwelodd i, a welodd y Tad: a pha fodd yr wyt ti yn dywedyd, Dangos i ni y Tad? 10 Onid wyt ti yn credu fy mod i yn y Tad, a’r Tad ynof finnau? Y geiriau yr wyf fi yn eu llefaru wrthych, nid ohonof fy hun yr wyf yn eu llefaru; ond y Tad yr hwn sydd yn aros ynof, efe sydd yn gwneuthur y gweithredoedd. 11 Credwch fi, fy mod i yn y Tad, a’r Tad ynof finnau: ac onid e, credwch fi er mwyn y gweithredoedd eu hunain. 12 Yn wir, yn wir, meddaf i chwi, Yr hwn sydd yn credu ynof fi, y gweithredoedd yr wyf fi yn eu gwneuthur, yntau hefyd a’u gwna, a mwy na’r rhai hyn a wna efe: oblegid yr wyf fi yn myned at fy Nhad. 13 A pha beth bynnag a ofynnoch yn fy enw i, hynny a wnaf; fel y gogonedder y Tad yn y Mab. 14 Os gofynnwch ddim yn fy enw i, mi a’i gwnaf.

15 O cherwch fi, cedwch fy ngorchmynion. 16 A mi a weddïaf ar y Tad, ac efe a rydd i chwi Ddiddanydd arall, fel yr arhoso gyda chwi yn dragwyddol; 17 Ysbryd y gwirionedd, yr hwn ni ddichon y byd ei dderbyn, am nad yw yn ei weled, nac yn ei adnabod ef: ond chwi a’i hadwaenoch ef; oherwydd y mae yn aros gyda chwi, ac ynoch y bydd efe. 18 Ni’ch gadawaf chwi yn amddifaid: mi a ddeuaf atoch chwi. 19 Eto ennyd bach, a’r byd ni’m gwêl mwy; eithr chwi a’m gwelwch: canys byw wyf fi, a byw fyddwch chwithau hefyd. 20 Y dydd hwnnw y gwybyddwch fy mod i yn fy Nhad, a chwithau ynof fi, a minnau ynoch chwithau. 21 Yr hwn sydd â’m gorchmynion i ganddo, ac yn eu cadw hwynt, efe yw’r hwn sydd yn fy ngharu i: a’r hwn sydd yn fy ngharu i, a gerir gan fy Nhad i: a minnau a’i caraf ef, ac a’m hegluraf fy hun iddo. 22 Dywedodd Jwdas wrtho, (nid yr Iscariot,) Arglwydd, pa beth yw’r achos yr wyt ar fedr dy eglurhau dy hun i ni, ac nid i’r byd? 23 Yr Iesu a atebodd ac a ddywedodd wrtho, Os câr neb fi, efe a geidw fy ngair; a’m Tad a’i câr yntau, a nyni a ddeuwn ato, ac a wnawn ein trigfa gydag ef. 24 Yr hwn nid yw yn fy ngharu i, nid yw yn cadw fy ngeiriau: a’r gair yr ydych yn ei glywed, nid eiddof fi ydyw, ond eiddo’r Tad a’m hanfonodd i. 25 Y pethau hyn a ddywedais wrthych, a mi yn aros gyda chwi. 26 Eithr y Diddanydd, yr Ysbryd Glân, yr hwn a enfyn y Tad yn fy enw i, efe a ddysg i chwi’r holl bethau, ac a ddwg ar gof i chwi’r holl bethau a ddywedais i chwi. 27 Yr wyf yn gadael i chwi dangnefedd; fy nhangnefedd yr ydwyf yn ei roddi i chwi: nid fel y mae y byd yn rhoddi, yr wyf fi yn rhoddi i chwi. Na thralloder eich calon, ac nac ofned. 28 Clywsoch fel y dywedais wrthych, Yr wyf yn myned ymaith, ac mi a ddeuaf atoch. Pe carech fi, chwi a lawenhaech am i mi ddywedyd, Yr wyf yn myned at y Tad: canys y mae fy Nhad yn fwy na myfi. 29 Ac yr awron y dywedais i chwi cyn ei ddyfod, fel pan ddêl, y credoch. 30 Nid ymddiddanaf â chwi nemor bellach: canys tywysog y byd hwn sydd yn dyfod, ac nid oes iddo ddim ynof fi. 31 Ond fel y gwypo’r byd fy mod i yn caru’r Tad, ac megis y gorchmynnodd y Tad i mi, felly yr wyf yn gwneuthur. Codwch, awn oddi yma.

John 14 New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Jesus the Way to the Father

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[c] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”

23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

28 “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29 I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe. 30 I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me, 31 but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me.

“Come now; let us leave.
