Hosea 13:9-11

9 I will destroy you, O Israel;
who[a] can help you?
10 Where[b] now is your king, to save you;
where are all[c] your princes,[d] to defend you[e]—
those of whom you said,
“Give me a king and princes”?
11 I have given you kings in my anger,
and I have taken them away in my wrath.

9 [a]It is thy destruction, O Israel, [b]that thou art against me, against thy help. 10 Where now is thy king, that he may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges, of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and princes? 11 I have given thee a king in mine anger, and have taken him away in my wrath.
