11 “Ephraim is like a dove,(A) easily deceived and senseless—now calling to Egypt,(B) now turning to Assyria.(C)
13 (A)You have plowed wickedness;You have reaped iniquity.You have eaten the fruit of lies,Because you trusted in your own way,In the multitude of your mighty men.
13 But you have planted wickedness, you have reaped evil,(A) you have eaten the fruit of deception.(B)Because you have depended on your own strength and on your many warriors,(C)
12 “Ephraim (A)feeds on the wind,And pursues the east wind;He daily increases lies and [a]desolation.(B)Also they make a [b]covenant with the Assyrians,And (C)oil is carried to Egypt.
