Hebrews 7:26-28

²⁶ For it was fitting for us to have such a High Priest: holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

²⁷ Who does not need to offer up daily sacrifices (first for His own sins, and then for the people’s) as those High Priests. For He did that once and for all when He offered up Himself.

²⁸ For the Law makes men (who have weakness) High Priests. But the word of the oath (which came after the Law) makes the Son, Who is consecrated for evermore.
