Hebrews 7:2-4 New English Translation (NET Bible)

To him[a] also Abraham apportioned a tithe[b] of everything.[c] His name first means[d] king of righteousness, then king of Salem,[e] that is, king of peace. Without father, without mother, without genealogy, he has neither beginning of days nor end of life but is like the son of God, and he remains a priest for all time. But see how great he must be, if[f] Abraham the patriarch gave him a tithe[g] of his plunder.
