Hebrews 2:13-15

13 And again,

(A)“I will put my trust in him.”

And again,

(B)“Behold, I and the children (C)God has given me.”

14 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise (D)partook of the same things, that (E)through death he might (F)destroy (G)the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and deliver all those who (H)through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.

“Here am I, and the children God has given me.”[b](B)

14 Since the children have flesh and blood,(C) he too shared in their humanity(D) so that by his death he might break the power(E) of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil(F)— 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear(G) of death.
