Hebrews 13:16-18 Wycliffe Bible (WYC)

16 And do not ye forget well-doing, and communing; for by such sacrifices God is well served[a].

17 Obey ye to your sovereigns, and be ye subject to them; for they perfectly wake[b], as to yielding reason for your souls, that they do this thing with joy, and not sorrowing; for this thing speedeth not to you.

18 Pray ye for us, and we trust that we have good conscience in all things, willing to live well.

Hebrews 13:16-18 New International Version (NIV)

16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.

18 Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way.
