²⁴ and to Jesus, ^(A)the mediator of a new covenant, and to ^(B)the sprinkled blood ^(C)that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

²⁵ See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For ^(D)if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven.

¹⁶ Therefore, ^(A)confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, ^(B)that you may be healed. ^(C)The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.^[a]

¹⁵ Rather, ^(A)speaking the truth in love, we are to ^(B)grow up in every way into him who is ^(C)the head, into Christ, ^16 (D)from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, ^(E)when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
