⁶ And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God ^(A)must believe that he exists and ^(B)that he rewards those who seek him.

^13 (A)You will seek me and find me, when you seek me ^(B)with all your heart. ¹⁴ I will be found by you, declares the Lord, ^(C)and I will restore your fortunes and ^(D)gather you from all the nations and all the places ^(E)where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

³³ But ^(A)seek first ^(B)the kingdom of God and his righteousness, ^(C)and all these things will be added to you.

David's Charge to Solomon

⁹ “And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a ^(A)whole heart and with a willing mind, ^(B)for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. ^(C)If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

³¹ Instead, ^(A)seek ^(B)his^[a] kingdom, ^(C)and these things will be added to you.

²⁵ Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost^{[a] (A)}those who draw near to God ^(B)through him, since he always lives ^(C)to make intercession for them.
