⁴ The brightness was like the sun;
    rays came forth from his hand,
    where his power lay hidden.^(A)

¹⁹ The sun shall no longer be
    your light by day,
nor for brightness shall the moon
    give light to you by night,^[a]
but the Lord will be your everlasting light,
    and your God will be your glory.^(A)
20 Your sun shall no more go down
    or your moon withdraw itself,
for the Lord will be your everlasting light,
    and your days of mourning shall be ended.^(B)

¹⁴ These are indeed but the outskirts of his ways,
    and how small a whisper do we hear of him!
    But the thunder of his power who can understand?”^(A)

¹⁰ The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
    the righteous run into it and are safe.^(A)
