²² But you have come to ^(A)Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, ^(B)the heavenly Jerusalem, and to ^(C)innumerable angels in festal gathering, ²³ and to ^(D)the assembly^[a] of the firstborn who are ^(E)enrolled in heaven, and to ^(F)God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, ²⁴ and to Jesus, ^(G)the mediator of a new covenant, and to ^(H)the sprinkled blood ^(I)that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

²⁵ See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For ^(J)if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven. ²⁶ At that time ^(K)his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, ^(L)“Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” ²⁷ This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates ^(M)the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain.

^33 (A)For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: ^(B)I will put my law within them, and I will write it ^(C)on their hearts. ^(D)And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. ³⁴ And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ ^(E)for they shall all know me, ^(F)from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For ^(G)I will forgive their iniquity, and ^(H)I will remember their sin no more.”
