⁷ And I will ^(A)establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, ^(B)to be God to you and to your offspring after you.

⁹ And God said to Abraham, “As for you, you shall keep my covenant, you and your offspring after you throughout their generations. ¹⁰ This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your offspring after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised. ¹¹ You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a ^(A)sign of the covenant between me and you.

³⁸ And Peter said to them, ^(A)“Repent and ^(B)be baptized every one of you ^(C)in the name of Jesus Christ ^(D)for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive ^(E)the gift of the Holy Spirit. ³⁹ For ^(F)the promise is for you and ^(G)for your children and for all ^(H)who are far off, everyone ^(I)whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

³² And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. ³³ And he took them ^(A)the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he ^(B)was baptized at once, he and all his family.

¹¹ In him also ^(A)you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by ^(B)putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, ^12 (C)having been buried with him in baptism, in which ^(D)you were also raised with him through faith in ^(E)the powerful working of God, ^(F)who raised him from the dead.
