Genesis 1:10-14

New International Version

¹⁰ God called^(A) the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters^(B) he called “seas.”^(C) And God saw that it was good.^(D)

¹¹ Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation:^(E) seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.^(F)” And it was so.^{(G) 12} The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds^(H) and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.^{(I) 13} And there was evening, and there was morning^(J)—the third day.

¹⁴ And God said, “Let there be lights^(K) in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night,^(L) and let them serve as signs^(M) to mark sacred times,^(N) and days and years,^(O)
