    test me and know my anxious thoughts.
²⁴ See if there is any offensive way^(C) in me,
    and lead me^(D) in the way everlasting.

⁹ Who can say, “I have kept my heart pure;^(A)
    I am clean and without sin”?^(B)

⁶ We all, like sheep, have gone astray,^(A)
    each of us has turned to our own way;^(B)
and the Lord has laid on him
    the iniquity^(C) of us all.

    and all our righteous^(B) acts are like filthy rags;
we all shrivel up like a leaf,^(C)
    and like the wind our sins sweep us away.^(D)
