²⁹ As he looked about and saw his brother Benjamin, his own mother’s son,^(A) he asked, “Is this your youngest brother, the one you told me about?”^(B) And he said, “God be gracious to you,^(C) my son.”

¹⁹ And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass^(A) in front of you, and I will proclaim my name,^(B) the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.^(C)

⁹ “Now plead with God to be gracious to us. With such offerings^(A) from your hands, will he accept^(B) you?”—says the Lord Almighty.
