Genesis 41:33-37

New American Standard Bible

³³So now let Pharaoh look for a man ^(A)discerning and wise, and appoint him over the land of Egypt. ³⁴Let Pharaoh take action to appoint overseers ^[a]in charge of the land, and let him take a fifth of the produce of the land of Egypt as a tax in the seven years of abundance. ³⁵Then have them ^(B)collect all the food of these good years that are coming, and store up the grain for food in the cities under Pharaoh’s authority, and have them guard it. ³⁶Let the food be used as a reserve for the land for the seven years of famine which will occur in the land of Egypt, so that the land will not perish during the famine.”

³⁷Now the ^[b]proposal seemed good ^[c]to Pharaoh and ^[d]to all his servants.

³³“And now let Pharaoh look for a discerning and wise man^(A) and put him in charge of the land of Egypt.^(B) ³⁴Let Pharaoh appoint commissioners^(C) over the land to take a fifth^(D) of the harvest of Egypt during the seven years of abundance.^(E) ³⁵They should collect all the food of these good years that are coming and store up the grain under the authority of Pharaoh, to be kept in the cities for food.^(F) ³⁶This food should be held in reserve for the country, to be used during the seven years of famine that will come upon Egypt,^(G) so that the country may not be ruined by the famine.”
