²⁷ saying, “Praise be to the Lord,^(A) the God of my master Abraham,^(B) who has not abandoned his kindness and faithfulness^(C) to my master. As for me, the Lord has led me on the journey^(D) to the house of my master’s relatives.”^(E)

²⁴ the spies saw a man coming out of the city and they said to him, “Show us how to get into the city and we will see that you are treated well.^(A)”

⁶ May the Lord now show you kindness and faithfulness,^(A) and I too will show you the same favor because you have done this.
